General Questions
I am a certified practitioner with extensive training in various healing modalities including Reiki, past life regression therapy, chakra balancing, trauma healing, and meditation guidance. I've completed advanced certifications in each modality and have helped hundreds of clients on their healing journeys over the past several years. I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing education, regular retreats, and working with master teachers in these traditions.
No. While an open mind can enhance your experience, many clients report significant benefits regardless of their initial beliefs or skepticism. These practices work with your body's natural energy systems and innate healing abilities. Many clients who began as skeptics have experienced profound shifts that changed their perspective. The most important element is your willingness to experience the session.
Each person's healing journey is unique. Some clients experience significant shifts after just one session, while others benefit from regular sessions over time. Factors that influence this include the nature and duration of your concerns, your personal energy sensitivity, and your specific healing goals. After our first session, we'll discuss what I observed in your energy field and create a recommended plan based on your specific needs, goals, and budget. Many clients find that 3-6 sessions allow for meaningful, lasting change.
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is recommended. Please avoid heavy perfumes or colognes as some clients are sensitive to strong scents. You'll remain fully clothed during all sessions. Consider layers as body temperature can fluctuate during energy work.
Try to avoid caffeine, alcohol, or heavy meals for at least 2-3 hours before your session. Arrive hydrated and with an open mind. It can be helpful to set an intention for your healing, though this isn't required. Consider journaling about what you hope to address or achieve through our work together.
Reiki Healing
Your session begins with a brief consultation to discuss your needs and set intentions. Then, you'll lie fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table while soft music plays in the background. I'll place my hands lightly on or just above different areas of your body, following the traditional Reiki hand positions. Most sessions begin at the head and work down to the feet, addressing the major energy centers along the way. You may experience sensations of warmth, tingling, pulsing, or deep relaxation as energy flows. Some clients see colors, have emotional releases, or gain insights during treatment. The session concludes with gentle grounding, and we'll take a few minutes afterward to discuss your experience.
Clients regularly report reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep quality, decreased pain and inflammation, accelerated healing from injuries or surgery, emotional release and processing, mental clarity, increased energy, enhanced immune function, deeper spiritual connection, and an overall sense of balance and wellbeing. Many find that Reiki helps them navigate life transitions and challenges with greater ease and clarity.
Yes, Reiki is completely non-invasive and has no known contraindications. It can be safely used alongside conventional medical treatments, medication, and other healing modalities. Reiki never interferes with medical treatment and often enhances its effectiveness. Occasionally, clients experience a temporary "healing reaction" which may include increased emotional sensitivity, mild headache, fatigue, or the brief intensification of symptoms as the body releases stored energy. These reactions are typically short-lived and followed by improvement. Staying hydrated after your session helps minimize these effects.
Distance Reiki Healing
Distance Reiki works on the principle that energy is not limited by physical distance or time. Quantum physics supports the concept that we can influence energy beyond physical proximity. Through specific techniques and symbols that serve as focusing tools, I can direct healing energy to you regardless of your location. Many clients report the same or even stronger effects from distance sessions compared to in-person treatments, as they're often more comfortable in their own space.
We'll begin with a brief video or phone call to discuss your intentions for the session. Then, I recommend finding a quiet, comfortable space where you won't be disturbed for the duration of our session (typically 45-60 minutes). You can lie down or sit comfortably. Turn off phones and notifications, and perhaps light a candle or play soft music if you wish. We'll establish a specific time for the session, and I'll send Reiki at that exact time. After the session, I'll email you notes about what I perceived during our work, and we can schedule a follow-up call to discuss your experience if desired.
Most clients report similar sensations to in-person sessions—warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, or emotional release. Some fall into a peaceful sleep during treatment. Others notice improved symptoms or a sense of lightness in the days following. I recommend keeping a journal of your experiences both during and after sessions to track subtle changes over time. Even if you don't feel dramatic sensations, healing is still occurring on energetic levels.
Past Life Regression Therapy
Past life regression is a therapeutic technique that uses guided hypnosis to recover memories of past lives or incarnations. During a session, you'll enter a deeply relaxed but conscious state where you can access the subconscious mind. From this state, you may experience vivid memories, sensations, and emotions connected to other lifetimes. The goal is to address unresolved trauma, karmic patterns, unexplained phobias, recurring relationship challenges, or physical ailments that may have roots in past experiences.
Sessions typically last 2-3 hours. We begin with a consultation to discuss your goals and any specific questions or issues you hope to address. I'll then guide you through progressive relaxation techniques to help you enter a receptive theta brainwave state. While in this relaxed state, I'll offer prompts to help you access relevant past life memories. You'll remain conscious and aware throughout, able to speak and describe your experiences as they unfold. After the regression portion, we'll spend time integrating the experience, discussing insights gained, and relating them to your current life circumstances.
That's completely fine. Some view the experience as accessing actual past lives, while others see it as a metaphorical way for the subconscious mind to process issues through symbolic storytelling. The therapeutic value comes from the insights and emotional processing that occur, regardless of how you interpret the experience. Many skeptical clients have found the process surprisingly healing and revealing, even while maintaining their original perspective.
Most clients remain aware during the regression and remember their experiences clearly. The state is similar to being deeply absorbed in a movie or book—focused but conscious. I also offer to record the session (audio only) so you can revisit it later, as subtle details may become more significant with time and reflection. Additionally, I provide guidance on journaling practices to help integrate your experiences in the days and weeks following your session.
Yes. Many clients find that persistent, irrational fears—such as fear of water, heights, enclosed spaces, or specific animals—can be traced to traumatic experiences in past lives. By accessing and processing these memories, clients often experience significant reduction or complete resolution of these fears. The same applies to inexplicable attractions to certain time periods, cultures, or places, which may represent positive past life connections.
Chakra Balancing
Chakras are energy centers that run along the spine from the base to the crown of the head. There are seven main chakras, each corresponding to specific organs, glands, emotions, and aspects of consciousness. When they're blocked or imbalanced due to stress, trauma, or negative thought patterns, you may experience physical ailments, emotional distress, or mental fog in the corresponding areas of your life. Balancing these energy centers promotes optimal physical health, emotional stability, mental clarity, and spiritual connection.
Balanced chakras often result in feeling more energetic, emotionally stable, mentally clear, and physically well. You may notice improved relationships, increased creativity, stronger intuition, clearer communication, and a deeper sense of purpose and spiritual connection. Specific signs of balance for each chakra include:
- Root: Feeling secure, grounded, and financially stable
- Sacral: Experiencing healthy sexuality, creativity, and emotional fluidity
- Solar Plexus: Having strong self-esteem, personal power, and clear boundaries
- Heart: Giving and receiving love freely, experiencing compassion and forgiveness
- Throat: Communicating truthfully and effectively, expressing yourself creatively
- Third Eye: Trusting your intuition, having clear perception and visualization
- Crown: Feeling spiritually connected, experiencing wisdom and inner peace
I use a comprehensive approach that includes multiple techniques tailored to your specific energy needs. The session begins with an assessment to determine which chakras need attention. Then, depending on what I find, I may use:
- Hands-on or hovering energy work to clear blockages
- Crystal therapy with stones specifically chosen for each chakra
- Sound healing using tuning forks or singing bowls tuned to chakra frequencies
- Aromatherapy with essential oils corresponding to each energy center
- Guided visualization to help you connect with and balance your own energy
- Specific breathwork techniques to activate and harmonize the chakras
- Gentle yoga postures or suggestions for at-home practices
Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes and conclude with integration time and personalized recommendations for maintaining your energetic balance.
Sacred Healing Circles
Our healing circles bring together small groups in a safe, supportive environment designed to harness the power of collective energy and intention. Each circle begins with the creation of sacred space through ritual, followed by grounding exercises and the setting of group intentions. Sessions typically include guided meditation, group energy work, intentional sharing (always optional), and specific healing practices depending on the focus of that circle. We may incorporate sound healing, breathwork, movement, oracle cards, or seasonal rituals. Circles conclude with integration time and closing practices to ground participants before returning to daily life.
No. While sharing can deepen the healing experience for both yourself and others, it's always voluntary. The circle operates on a principle of "take what serves you and leave the rest." You're welcome to simply be present and receive the collective healing energy. Many participants find that even without sharing, they experience profound healing simply by witnessing others' journeys in a supportive container.
Our circles usually include 5-12 participants to maintain an intimate, supportive atmosphere while still generating sufficient group energy. Some special event circles may be larger, while intensive healing circles are kept deliberately small. Advanced registration is required for all circles to ensure we maintain appropriate group dynamics.
Please bring a journal, water bottle, and anything that supports your comfort such as a shawl, eye pillow, or favorite crystal. Depending on the specific circle, I may suggest additional items in advance. We provide meditation cushions, blankets, and mats, but you're welcome to bring your own if preferred.

Guided Meditation
Absolutely. A wandering mind is completely normal and part of being human—even experienced meditators have busy thoughts. Guided meditation is particularly helpful for busy minds because it provides a focal point through my voice and instructions, giving your mind something to anchor to when it wanders. The practice itself is about gently returning attention when it wanders, not achieving a perfectly quiet mind. Each time you notice your thoughts and bring awareness back, you're strengthening your mental muscles. Many clients with self-described "monkey minds" find guided meditation transformative precisely because it works with, rather than against, our natural thought patterns.
Individual sessions typically last 30-45 minutes, including time for settling in, the guided practice itself, and integration. Group meditations vary from 20-60 minutes depending on the specific event and theme. For beginners, I often recommend starting with 20-minute sessions and gradually building to longer practices. I also offer mini-sessions of 10-15 minutes for those with busy schedules or as an introduction to meditation.
Research consistently shows meditation can help with numerous conditions including stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, high blood pressure, PTSD, addiction recovery, attention difficulties, and cognitive function. During our consultation, we can discuss your specific concerns and how meditation might support your healing journey. I can then design practices specifically targeting your needs, whether that's pain management, emotional regulation, stress reduction, or spiritual connection. I also provide recordings of personalized meditations for your home practice.
I offer various meditation styles to suit different preferences and needs:
- Mindfulness meditation for present-moment awareness
- Loving-kindness meditation for compassion and relationship healing
- Body scan meditation for physical awareness and relaxation
- Chakra meditation for energy balancing
- Visualization meditation for manifestation and healing
- Breath-focused meditation for anxiety and stress reduction
- Movement meditation for those who struggle with stillness
- Mantra meditation using sacred sounds for deep focus
During our initial consultation, we can explore which styles resonate most with you.
Consistency is more important than duration when developing a practice. I provide clients with:
- Personalized recorded meditations for home use
- Gradual building plans starting with just 5 minutes daily
- Techniques for integrating mindfulness into everyday activities
- Accountability check-ins and meditation journals
- Recommendations for apps and resources to support your practice
- Strategies for overcoming common obstacles to regular practice
Trauma Healing
I utilize a holistic, body-centered approach to trauma healing that recognizes trauma is stored not just in our memories but in our physical bodies and energy systems. My methodology draws from several evidence-based and complementary approaches including:
- Somatic experiencing techniques to safely process trauma stored in the body
- Energy psychology to address trauma imprints in the energy field
- Mindfulness practices to develop healthy nervous system regulation
- Parts work to honor and integrate fragmented aspects of self
- Breathwork to release trauma from the nervous system
- Reiki and energy healing to support the body's natural healing processes
I create a highly individualized treatment plan based on your specific trauma history, symptoms, and healing goals.
Yes. While I collaborate with many mental health professionals, my approach differs from traditional talk therapy in several ways. I focus primarily on the body and energy systems rather than cognitive processing alone. This is based on current trauma research showing that trauma is primarily stored in the body and nervous system, not just in the mind. My work addresses the physiological imprints of trauma and helps the body complete natural healing processes that may have been interrupted during traumatic experiences. That said, many clients find this work complementary to traditional therapy, and I'm happy to coordinate with your therapist if desired.
No. In fact, repeatedly discussing or reliving traumatic events can sometimes retraumatize rather than heal. My approach focuses on creating safety in the nervous system first, then gently addressing the trauma's effects on your body and energy field. We work at the edge of your comfort zone—enough to facilitate healing but not so much that you become overwhelmed. Many clients find they can process and release trauma through somatic (body-based) techniques without needing to verbally recounting every detail of their experiences.
Trauma responses can manifest in various ways, including:
- Persistent anxiety, panic attacks, or hypervigilance
- Emotional numbness or disconnection from your body
- Chronic fatigue or unexplained physical symptoms
- Difficulty with boundaries or people-pleasing behaviors
- Recurring relationship patterns or attachment difficulties
- Unexplained triggers or emotional reactions
- Sleep disturbances or nightmares
- Addictive behaviors or self-medication
- Persistent negative beliefs about yourself or the world
Even if you haven't experienced major trauma like abuse or accidents, developmental trauma from childhood (such as emotional neglect or inconsistent caregiving) can create significant patterns that affect your adult life. During our consultation, we can explore whether trauma healing might benefit your specific situation.
The timeline for trauma healing varies greatly depending on the nature, duration, and timing of the trauma, as well as your current resources and support systems. Single-incident adult trauma may resolve in 5-10 sessions, while complex childhood trauma typically requires longer-term work. We'll establish clear goals and regularly assess progress. Many clients experience significant relief from symptoms within the first few sessions, even as deeper healing continues. I emphasize creating practical tools for self-regulation that you can use immediately, while also addressing root causes for long-term resolution.
The gentle, non-invasive approaches I use are generally safe for most conditions, including pregnancy. In fact, releasing trauma before childbirth can be particularly beneficial. However, I require information about any medical conditions, medications, and treatment history during our initial consultation to ensure my approaches are appropriate for your specific situation. For certain conditions, I may request a medical clearance from your healthcare provider or suggest modifications to our approach.
